CFD Holiday Party 2009
CFD had a blast at our 2009 Holiday Party at Wind Song Farms December 6, 2009. We filled the Mane Hall with great food, good holiday cheer, music, lots of laughter, and high spirits.
The evening started with drinks and snacks followed by a pot luck dinner brought by all the attendees, then dessert and more snacks and treats.
Attendees also brought nonperishable food for a food drive which was later taken to a food bank thanks to our VP, Susan Croft.
Throughout the evening, party attendees got to review and vote on our Youth Art submissions sponsored by Oakley Equine Sports Medicine. Many thanks to our Program Director Diane Delmain who coordinated the Youth Awards sponsors and Youth Art contest.
The high point of the evening was our traditional ornament exchange and ticket drawing with Maya who's energy and antics entertained us all.
This event was made even more special by sharing it with our Wind Song friends, new and prospective CFD members, families and guests, and familiar CFD faces we always enjoy seeing and talking to.
Many thanks to Wind Song Farms and Lori and Warren Wubker for letting us have our Holiday party in their Mane Hall. It was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and we appreciate their generosity and support of CFD.
This was a really fun event and we are so glad so many of our members and friends could come join and celebrate with us.
