What a wonderful riding day!
Five horse and rider combinations came to Plumwood Arena in Altoona
to ride with CFD and Greta Wrigley:

Gaile Gibson and Amethyst
Ann Chartier and Cassel's Omar
Missy Ascik and Lucky
Katie Freeman and Symphony
Callie Williams and Sparky

Our horse and rider pairs enjoyed an hour lesson with Greta Wrigley. And boy did we work. We all especially enjoyed Greta's analogies for riding, and her relaxed and easy going style made for an educational and enjoyable lesson. Greta is an excellent and knowledgeable dressage instructor, and it was a real pleasure riding with her.

Another great aspect of this clinic was the location at Laura Causey's Plumwood Arena. There is nothing like bountiful shade on a hot summer day.

The footing was stellar and Laura even ordered a nice breeze for us. Laura's farm is next to the Ocala forest and is surrounded by beautiful trees and a peaceful atmosphere that boarders on a zen experience.

Riders and spectators enjoyed a picnic lunch under Laura's covered stadium, ride side seating.

During lunch, CFD held a drawing from all our riders in the clinic. The door prize was a choice of halters. Rider Callie Williams won our drawing. Congratulations Callie!
